Accessibility Statement

We want Why Humans to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or voice control.

Our target

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is a target. We have not had the site independently audited, and we do not claim that it currently conforms.

What we aim to do

  • Use clear headings, semantic page structure, and descriptive link text.
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images, including illustrations.
  • Support keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators.
  • Maintain sufficient color contrast and allow text to be resized.
  • Respect reduced-motion preferences where animation is used.

Known limitations

Because the site is new and still being built, some pages or interactive features may fall short of these goals. Third-party content, such as external sites we link to, is outside our control.

Tell us about a barrier

If you have trouble using any part of the site, please let us know through the contact page. Describe the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology if relevant. We will try to fix the issue or offer another way to get the information.
